Sure the effect will be similar in decay and any other creative effects that you add in there but a reverb is literally just a copy of the source you’re sending to it. If you copy exact reverb settings from one vocalist to another, they will never sound the same. But I’m just going to mention this incase you haven’t thought of it yet, because I didn’t know it when I was a little less experienced than I am now. I’ve actually used and done this setup/test before with the PCM Plate plugin a couple years ago, super great reverb btw. Glad for any replies! Sorry if this is the wrong sub, i didnt know any thats better suited Heres some references reportedly mixed by the guy:

only compressing the highs for parallel compressing just the high end in (?) didnt know people do that. Im VERY bad at gathering information while listening to something, so i want to ask you guys for help:ĭo you think the plate+delay into plate is all there is? Also, is the delay 1/4 or 1/8? Its mixed in so subtle sometimes that i just cant tellĪlso another question: I assumed his Vocals are just crazy boosted in the highs, but someone told me a few days ago that he thinks they used a bus with an eq and a comp. I saw his engineer on Gearslutz saying its a Plate reverb (lexicon pcm plate to be specific), as well as a delay routed into the very same reverb. Hi! Im trying to replicate the typical reverb in Tory Lanez' songs.
